Violence Prevention Training for Continuing Education Students

All Fresno State students are required to complete Sexual Violence Prevention Training, including students enrolled through the Division of Continuing and Global Education.

Students enrolled in Open University and other academic credit programs courses (excluding the Bachelor of Arts in Social Science - see below).

Students will complete the Online Sexual Violence Prevention Training module provided to matriculated Fresno State students. Failure to complete the training by the deadline will result in an account hold and access to the student's portal will be blocked.  Learn more about the module on the Title IX website.


Students enrolled in the Bachelor of Arts in Social Science.

Students will receive an in-person Sexual Violence Prevention Training session at regular intervals.

The Bachelor of Arts in Social Science is offered in partnership with the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR). Students are incarcerated and do not have access to online training modules.


Students enrolled in noncredit professional development courses and Continuing Education Units (CEUs).

Students will receive a link to the training presentation.

Students receiving transcripted academic credit, certificates, or Continuing Education Units (CEUs) at Fresno State in conjunction with a third-party service.
