Masked, Distanced, Quarantined: Writing the Pandemic
This class focuses on writing our way through the current pandemic. Using personal experience, inquiry, or argument writing, students will engage in conversations in response to readings about the COVID-19 coronavirus, in order to document this historic time in our lives. In doing this work, students will brush up on academic reading and writing practices and get feedback on their writing in order to be better prepared for college. Writing from this class can be published in a national collection of stories about the coronavirus pandemic.
