Recreational Badminton

 

This course consists of participants who are practicing their badminton skills and playing in badminton matches.  Participants are given guidance about techniques and game tactics on how to play badminton.  Primarily, the course is to provide a place for healthy, vigorous and fun physical activity for participants of all ages.  At the end of class, successful participants will have an increased level of physical fitness and an increased level of skill in badminton. This course is open to anyone who is interested in participating, no skill level required. Participants will have to provide their own equipment (racket/shuttles). There will be a handful of extra rackets on hand to borrow on a first come first serve basis.

About the Instructor

Chiang (Sonny) Lim is an experienced badminton player and an advocate for the community of badminton players. Sonny has been coordinating the badminton activity at Fresno State since 2016 and his goal is for badminton to encourage safety, cooperation, integrity, mutual respect, fairness, tactical skills and personal development.
