Summer 2023 Classes

Three exciting options for additional coursework at Fresno State!

What's the difference between these options?

In Spring Intersession and Summer Session, you pay fees on a per-class basis. These options are unchanged from past years.

In Summer Semester, you pay full- or part-time tuition, like the Fall and Spring Semesters. This option is ideal for students who can build a schedule of two or more classes from the available courses.

Can I mix and match these programs?

You may enroll in multiple programs, but the different fee structures--regular tuition for Summer Semester; per-unit fees for Spring Intersession and Summer Session--apply to individual classes.

You cannot count a Spring Intersession or Summer Session class as part of your Summer Semester schedule, nor can you pay per-unit fees for a class that is only offered in Summer Semester.

EXAMPLE: if you enroll in a 3 unit undergraduate class in Summer Semester and another in Summer Session, you will be charged $1,665 in part-time tuition for Summer Semester and $993 in class fees for Summer Session.
