Salwa holds a Master's degree in International Studies & Diplomacy from Al Akhawayn University in Morocco and was an international student herself, having participated in an exchange program at Westminster University in London. She has considerable experience in administrative and operational support and also in international affairs, as she was a Political Counselor and later a Diplomat representing Morocco in Sweden.

Thanks to her previous tenure as both a professional and a volunteer Grant Writer, Salwa has extensive experience working with and serving multicultural communities, including ethnic minorities, people of color, immigrants, and refugees. She also speaks four languages: Arabic, English, Spanish, and French.

Salwa is thrilled to join the International Office and CGE and help provide a welcoming and enriching learning experience for all international students at Fresno State!
