David began working at Fresno State as a student assistant in 2007. He joined the Division of Continuing and Global Education as a staff member in 2012, where he coordinated the Early Start program, self-supporting degree and certificate programs, Summer Session, Intersession, and professional development programs.

David earned his Bachelor's degree from Fresno State in 2011, his MBA in 2015, and his Ed.D. in 2026.
