RN-BSN Online Program-South Valley Cohort
The South Valley RN to BSN program is a cohort driven program, admission is annually in the fall. The importance of staying with your admitted cohort cannot be stressed enough. Becoming out-of-sync with your cohort causes an unequal number of students in the semester system; leading to a possible inability to accommodate the student that falls out of cohort-specific courses.
Associate Degree RN graduates with a bachelor's degree in another area may enter as second-degree students. In order to meet minimum degree requirements, co-requisite courses (or 9 units) must be taken in addition to the RN to BSN coursework.
Units required to graduate with a BSN from Fresno State
Compliance with required GE specific course work is individually specific. A total of 120 units is required to graduate with a BSN degree. Forty-one (41) are the nursing major requirements. For specific GE requirements counseling from the CHHS advisors is a must.
