A full week of events to celebrate International Education!

International Education Week (IEW), is an opportunity to celebrate the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide. This joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education is part of the efforts to promote programs that prepare Americans for a global environment and attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn, and exchange experiences.

11:00 am - 1:00 pm IEW - Kick Off USU Walkway Come and be a part of our International Education Week Kick Off event! Join us for a vibrant week dedicated to celebrating the enriching aspects of global education and exchange. Experience a lively showcase of diversity and culture through interactive displays. Immerse yourself in music, captivating performances, traditional attire, engaging activities, exciting giveaways, and much more!

12:00 - 1:00 pm Taiwan Presentation - Gilman Recipient Ze Lo Library 2108 Don’t miss the chance to be inspired by Ze Lo's incredible journey through language, culture, and adventure in Taiwan! Discover how the Gilman Scholarship and Fresno State Grants helped make this study abroad experience possible.

This presentation offers a roadmap for developing and implementing effective faculty-led study abroad programs, guiding participants through essential planning steps that lead to meaningful global learning experiences.
12:00 - 2:00 pm CultureFest Memorial Garden South Join us for CultureFest where we celebrate with multicultural clubs through fun and diverse activities. Clubs will compete to be this year's champion and receive the G.O.A.T. Trophy. 
2:00 - 3:00 pm International Coffee Hour Library 2206  
4:00 - 6:00 pm International Culture Celebration RSU Ballroom The International Culture Celebration connects the Fresno State campus and the local community through culture and traditions from around the world, specifically showcasing the performing arts and fashion of cultures on and around campus.
