Expression of Interest Instructions

We are offering a $1,000 to $1,500 grant to help make a real difference in a student's life, and we want to hear your story.

Who is eligible: all newly admitted international students

In your Expression of Interest (EOI) letter, please include a short description of the following (only one page):

  1. Your name, major, country of origin, and Student ID,
  2. Your personal, academic, and financial factors (achievements and challenges),
  3. Why you chose Fresno State to pursue your degree.
  4. How this grant would help you start your journey at Fresno State specifically and in the United States in general,
  5. What difference it could make for your future and your community once you graduate.

How to apply: Email your EOI letter to newbulldog@csufresno.edu (Word or PDF format), with the subject line "Muhareb Grant EOI - [Your Name]"

Deadline: October 15, 2026, for Spring 2027 and May 15, 2027, for Fall 2027.
