Why did you choose Fresno State? 
I choose Fresno State because it is near Silicon Valley which is a great plus for the field that I want to go in. 

What’s the best thing about Fresno State? 
The best thing is that there's a very passionate mindset of doing well and succeeding. The wonderful professors and staff who pride themselves in the success of their students, Fresno State's outstanding library, and the friendly and accepting atmosphere that comes with being a Fresno State student.

What are your favorite campus activities? 
Some of my favorite activities include Vintage Days, Career fairs, Club Fairs, etc. It is a great blend of gaining professional experience and having fun.

What are your favorite local activities? 
I love shopping in the fashion fair mall which is very close to campus and a fun place to hang with friends.

What’s your favorite thing to do in Fresno, California?
My favorite thing to do in Fresno is going to the Fresno Zoo and Island water part during my day-offs.

What are your plans after you graduate? 
I plan on going for my master’s degree in computer science after I graduate.

Advice for new students?
Make friends but get comfortable hanging out by yourself. Teach yourself to get up early. Try to build a solid work ethic. Becoming friends with professors is a good idea. For many fields, employers care more about the initiatives you took and the experience you gain than your GPA or what classes you took. Plus, it makes you a more well-rounded person and more able to handle different types of life challenges.
