Why did you choose Fresno State? 
I chose Fresno State because of the great community and location. It is a pretty big town, but it is quite peaceful and the sense of community both on and off campus is great, which is very motivating for studying.

What are your favorite local activities?
I love going to random food trucks and random pop-up events.

What’s your favorite thing to do in Fresno, California?
The best thing about this place is that there are a lot of random places for recreational activities such as skating, trampoline parks, etc., as well as different food trucks, random activities, and pop-ups/fandom events.

What are your plans after you graduate?
My plan after graduation is to hopefully pursue a master’s degree (probably at Fresno State as well) and do some more research in the field.

Advice for new students?
Everything might feel extremely overwhelming at first, but truly, take it one step at a time. It will all eventually fall into place once you prioritize a few tasks at first, rather than trying to solve everything at once. Also, just go with the flow and enjoy life as it is; sometimes, worrying about the future can take away the joy of the present.

What’s the best thing about Fresno State?
There are very friendly people and professors here; it is really easy to make meaningful connections and relationships with everyone, so studying and learning become less stressful and more manageable.

What are your favorite campus activities?
I like hanging out in the library to study or just relax my mind after a long day of exams and schoolwork.
