Why did you choose Fresno State?
The diversity of the school really did appeal to me and I wanted to attend a school
that focused on including not just a certain population/race of students. Fresno State
emphasizes a lot on that aspect which plays a huge role in education too.
What’s the best thing about Fresno State?
I would definitely say the USU building. They have napping pods just like in Tokyo
where they have those hotel pods. They also have gaming PCs and a bowling alley. I
cannot wait for them to open up.
What are your favorite campus activities?
It would definitely have to be International Coffee Hour cause we get to learn a lot
about different cultures.
What are your favorite local activities?
Going to taste test every ramen shop till I find my ramen plug and getting wings every
three weeks at Buffalo Wild Wings
What’s your favorite thing to do in Fresno, California?
This has got to be the car shows and car meets in Fresno. I get to see cool and exotic
cars (sometimes), and sometimes you get to see some Japanese-imported cars.
What are your plans after you graduate?
It would be getting an apprenticeship at a law firm.
Advice for new students?
Don’t let your fear get to you when asking for help. Even if your question may not
seem like something worth asking, ask away.
