Why Fresno State
Fresno State is an ideal location for day travels to a variety of attractions, including Los Angeles, San Francisco, Yosemite, and others. It is close to Silicon Valley, which is ideal for the field I want to pursue.

Best thing about Fresno State
The nicest part is that there is a strong commitment to working well and achieving. For example, the fantastic instructors and staff that take pride in their students' achievement, Fresno State's superb library, and the welcoming and accepting environment that comes with being a Fresno State student.

Favorite campus activities
New student orientations, Vintage Days, and all student club related activities especially hiking with friends. And of course, the student recreation center, too!

Favorite local activities
Eating Mexican food, going to the fair, and shopping.

Favorite things to do in Fresno, California
Visiting the Fresno Zoo and Island Water Park on my days off are some of my favorite things to do in Fresno.

Advice for the new students
Get out of your comfort zone and don't procrastinate.
