Why did you choose Fresno State?

Fresno State is situated at the perfect location where people can do day trips to several destinations such as Los Angeles, San Francisco, Yosemite and so on. Additionally, my relative family lives in Fresno. Therefore, I can easily reach out to them whenever I need help. 

What’s the best thing about Fresno State?

It is so hard for me to decide one best thing about Fresno State. I would say three best things: campus, clubs and diversity. During spring semester, the campus vibe surrounded by beautiful trees is so marvelous. Additionally, when I arrived at Fresno State, I was shocked to find out the enormous numbers of student clubs and organizations available on campus. Last but not least, diversity among students is astounding.

What are your plans after you graduate?

If I am able to find a job, I will stay here for longer. But later, I want to start my own social enterprise in my country, Myanmar where lots of things are needed to develop.

Advice for new students?
To be honest, I had been to several countries before but, I still had culture shock. Advices that I would like to give are to be open-minded and outspoken. Whenever you need help, please feel free to reach out to me. I am a good listener, and I will help you as much as I can.
