Why did you choose Fresno State?
I chose Fresno State because I wanted to be in or closer to the silicon valley which would be a great deal for my career and Fresno State is most diverse university in the entire panel of CSU which always adds to a plus point.

What’s the best thing about Fresno State?
Diversity and culture would be the best thing about Fresno State.

What are your favorite campus activities?
I really enjoyed playing pool and bowling, hanging out in the library interacting with different people.

What are your favorite local activities?
Evening walks in Woodward park with friends, going to a trampoline place on weekends, and movie nights on Tuesday.

What’s your favorite thing to do in Fresno, California?
The best thing about Fresno is that it’s in the center of California that means no place is too far, one could use a quick and enjoyable getaway be it to L.A., Yosemite, or Sequoia Lake.

What are your plans after you graduate?
After I graduate I intend to move to the bay area and try for a job in the tech Giants, basically explore more practical knowledge and after that I want to specialize in a particular field of Computer Science through a master’s degree.

Advice for new students?
As per my experiences, one should explore more opportunities in their major field by getting in contact with the professors directly and ask them about your major related events and clubs, share your ideas and your beliefs regarding your career with your professors and

If you find a particular class/assignment hard then don’t look for the answers on chegg.com at all. Try to get those concepts absorbed in your mind and don’t give up on yourself, go to office hours, and have then sorted out.

Grades do not matter, what matters is that you gave your best shot and put in all the effort you could in solving that issue/problem you find difficult, rather than just copying the answers from the internet.

You never fail! Either you win or you learn. So, keep up the leering process.
