Beginning May 17, textbooks will be available at the Kennel Bookstore on the Fresno State campus. Information about textbooks is available from your instructor or the bookstore ( Bookstore hours from May 17 - August 6 are 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday-Friday. Kennel Bookstore will be closed on May 31 for Memorial Day. Subject to change.

Student ID Cards

Student ID CardsStudents attending classes through Continuing and Global Education may obtain a Bulldog Card - Fresno State's official student ID. The Bulldog Card serves as a valid student ID card in the community and online. The card provides checkout privileges for materials in the library, access to services at the Health Center with a co-pay,and more; visit for a list of benefits. Students must first complete their course registration, then follow the instructions here:

Student Health and Counseling Center Services   

Student Health Services will be open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:00 am to 4:45 pm, and Wednesday from 9:00 am to 4:45 pm, May 10 - 21, with limited services from 12:00 noon to 1:00 pm. Beginning May 24, Monday through Friday, hours are 7:00 am to 3:15 pm with minimal services from 12:00 noon to 12:30 pm daily. Student Health Services will be closed on May 31.There will be a $15 co-pay per office visit. A Fresno State student ID is required. See instructions above to obtain a card. Daily parking permits may be purchased for $5.00 per day, using credit cards ONLY, from the dispensers located in the campus parking lots. If you need additional assistance, please call the Traffic Operations Office at 559.278.2950.

University Student Union

While the University Student Union and Satellite Student Union facilities are closed until further notice (due to COVID-19), the staff will continue providing services, programs, and resources and are available to serve students. Fresno State Student Housing 

Students enrolled in Spring (May-June) Intersession may apply to live at Fresno State Student Housing. Students don't have to worry about being locked into a lease, and daily rates for summer are just $23.00! That includes utilities, maintenance, housekeeping, and access to all of our amenities. Some of the amenities include free WiFi, free basic cable, 24/7 customer service desk, swimming pool, fitness center, and more! To apply, visit to download the application. Fresno State Police Department 

The Police Department is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, year round. Safety Escorts are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, year round. In the event of an emergency during the campus closure, call 9-1-1 from a campus phone, or contact the Police Department from your cell phone at: 559.278.8400. If you call 9-1-1 from your cell phone, advise the 9-1-1 dispatcher you are on the Fresno State campus and give your exact location. 


The Fresno State Police Department has an anonymous tip line for reporting crime or providing information.  Text or call to leave a voicemail: 559.664.3204.

Your tip will be forwarded anonymously to the Fresno State Police Department for investigation or other appropriate actions.
